Ladies Golf Journey

About Us

Ladies Golf Journey Publisher, Rosemary Johnson, with Kentucky Governor Martha Lane Collins Ladies Golf Journey focuses on providing editorial content and resources about golf, travel and leisure with a woman’s perspective.

Ladies Golf Journey, a print publication, was launched in 1996 to meet the needs of an underserved women’s golf market. Simultaneously, Ladies Golf Journey introduced an online edition to enhance its publication.

In the spring of 2005, LGJ converted its publication to an online magazine, which it continues to expand, attracting articles from nationally known professionals and writers and featuring interesting stories and informative articles about golf as well as lifestyle amenities including travel, restaurants, entertaining ideas, fitness and more.

Ladies Golf Journey’s mission is to be the information resource of choice, helping women to make knowledgeable decisions about golf, travel, and leisure activities.

The golf industry has recognized that women are an integral part of increasing the total golf participation and their purchasing power.

Ladies Golf Journey is recognized by the golf industry and media as a resource to reach the women’s golf market.

There are 6.9 million women golfers, which is 25.3 percent of all golfers.

Over 2 million best customers are women.

Interestingly, 60% of the non-golfer opportunity group (7 million) are women.
