Founded in 1899, it is the country's oldest state golf association and is based at Golf House in Rocky Hill where it shares offices with The Connecticut Section of the Professional Golf Association. |
| Connecticut Section PGA | The Connecticut Section PGA is one of 41 sections chartered that together comprise the PGA of America. All of the state of Connecticut, with the exception of territory south and west of a line between the cities of Danbury and Bridgeport, and the western half of the state of Massachusetts, except for a small northwestern corner of the state, are the boundaries for the section. |
| Connecticut Section PGA Junior Golf Association | The mission of the PGA Junior Golf Association is to develop future golfers by introducing young people to the integrity and values of the game through the camaraderie and spirit of the Junior Golf TOUR and other tournament competitions. Membership is open to all boys and girls, ages 10-17, who reside, or go to school within the boundaries of the Connecticut Section (includes Western Massachusetts). |
