Orlando's newest golf course,
Mystic Dunes Golf Club at The Palms is unlike any other. The 18-hole
championship course offers an unprecedented golfing experience, ParView
GPS system, Resort and Country Club, and many other amenities.
Designed by PGA Tour professional
and NBC golf analyst Gary Koch, the routing incorporates much of the natural
surroundings, preserving existing topography throughout the course's 156
acres.
"With the golf course accommodating
both high and low handicappers, the playability of the course is very pleasing.
Almost every green is accessible with run-up shots, and there is mounding
to help direct shots," said course designer Koch. "We had some fun
on the greens with some bumps and humps. I know that the greens will
challenge anyone."
A par 71, 7,012-yard course,
Mystic Dunes offers lush landscaping and changes in elevation that vary
dramatically between the front nine holes and the back nine holes, giving
golfers an experience unlike any other in Central Florida. The "low country"
front nine is reminiscent of Carolina classics such as Harbour Town, as
each hole meanders through wetlands and oak forests. The dunes-style
back nine, with the feel of a British Isles links course, takes advantage
of weeping elevation changes and native sand dunes. Rounding out the experience
are "four of the best finishing holes you'll find anywhere," according
to Golf & Leisure Magazine.
The
overall golf experience, says Golf Digest, is "unavoidably intoxicating."

championship golf course in one of the hottest meeting destinations in
the world, you've got to be prepared to meet the masses. Mystic Dunes
Golf Club at The Palms is easily accessible, located just 10 minutes from
the attractions area and 20 minutes from the Orlando Orange County Convention
and Civic Center and the International Drive tourist district. In
addition to the usual tournament coordination, placement of signage on
the course, personalized bag tags for all players and golf bag valet service,
the PGA professional staff at Mystic Dunes offers out-of-the-ordinary ideas
to help plan events.
The 20,000 sq. ft. clubhouse
houses a 3,000 sq. ft. pro shop, which provides a complete line of tournament
products and merchandise which includes logoed golf balls, embroidered
golf towels and much more...The clubhouse also accommodates a full service
lounge and casual dining restaurant open seven days a week. The clubhouse
includes a banquet facility that can seat up to 200 people or can be separated
into two smaller rooms for a more intimate group. Banquet space is
available for golf tournaments and outings as well as meetings and private
functions.
